One of ABLE, Inc.’s four founding fathers and its first president has been given a diagnosed of ALS
(“Lou Gehrig’s Disease”). As of August 27, 2014, the ice bucket challenge has raised $94.3 million
for the ALS Association since July 29,, 2014. Drs. Dennis Kelly and Jamie Jacobs decided it was
appropriate to initiate the ice bucket challenge for ABLE, Inc. (Assisting Better Living Everywhere, Inc.)
in honor of our friend cited above as a means of garnering donations for this most worthy nonprofit
organization. So the ABLE board of directors and all the friends of our beloved friend have been
challenged to donate to ABLE, Inc.
